Ag Center Streaming Video
If
you are taking your course via streaming video from the LSU Ag Center you must
have Windows Media Player installed on your computer. A free download of
the software can be accessed
here.
The stream of your lecture
can
be viewed on the following link
http://130.39.185.168/
You will have the option to watch a live stream or an archived recording. In the
live conference box, click on Video:16-140kbps. The system will ask for your
chat user name. Type in the name you want the proctor to address you by. In a
few seconds you will get a screen on the left that has the conference on it and
on the right you have a chat screen. Type in questions on the very bottom where
it says enter chat text here. Remember you are seeing the conference 20 seconds
after it has happened. Your teacher knows this and will address the question
even though he is on a different subject.
If you have any problems
accessing your stream, please contact:
Jacob Wilson
Multimedia Technical Coordinator
(225) 578-1184
(225) 578-4052 (After Hours)
If you experience problems,
please contact Jacob Wilson as soon as possible. Preferably before your class
starts. He connects sites up to 30 minutes before the class actually begins.
This is your time to get everything running properly. If you disconnect for some
reason, try to reconnect.
