Master or Ph.D. of Human Resource Education and Workforce Development
(M.S.)
program is offered by

School of Human Resource Education and Workforce
Development under the

of Agriculture.
Most or all
of the courses needed for a Master's degree and many of the courses required for
a Ph.D. with a concentration in
Agricultural and Extension Education, and Youth Development (AEEYD)
are available via distance learning. Courses
are taught using a combination of compressed video and web-based instruction.

The Master of Library and Information Sciences
(M.L.I.S.) program is offered by the

In order to meet the diverse
needs of students who work or live in other locations around the state, the

School of Social Work offers off-campus courses in a part-time format for
students in outlying areas of the state. Students must meet specific admission
requirements to enter the
School
of Social Work Distance Education Program.
Courses
are taught using a combination of compressed video, web-based instruction and
limited on-site, face-to-face instruction.

The
Certificate
of Education Specialist (Ed.S.) (Reading),
program is offered by the
College of Education under the
Department of Educational Theory, Policy, & Practice (ETPP). The program is delivered by on-site instruction
in Shreveport, Louisiana by Dr.

The Certificate
of Education Specialist (Ed.S.) intended primarily for
teachers, counselors, supervisors, and administrators in elementary and
secondary schools. This program provides in-depth opportunities for
further professional growth and specialization for persons who have completed a masters degree. A minimum of 60 hours of graduate
credit - which may include the masters degree-is required.

Extension Service Specialization
The Louisiana
Cooperative Extension Service Specialization (LCES
Specialization) is offered by the LSU
Agricultural Center. The program offers a
special postgraduate program of study to its Cooperative Extension Agents
throughout the state.

program is based upon courses offered by the
